Register the branch
A branch uses the foreign company's legal identity: no new articles or capital, but a Luxembourg registration and a permanent representative.
- Where
- LBR (RCS filing), the Ministry of the Economy for the business permit, the AED for VAT.
- You need
- A recent register extract and the articles of the parent company (translated if needed), the decision to open the branch, the representative's ID and powers, a Luxembourg address.
- Cost
- RCS filing fees, plus translations if needed
- Time
- A few weeks
Good to know. The branch is registered and can trade once it holds any business permit it needs.
